Hotline: Louisiana Language Access Coalition (LLAC)
504-315-5751 (calls, texts and Whatsapp)
Services: A hotline to collect community data on language access gaps in education, healthcare, legal and government settings. The hotline will accompany impacted people to make a complaint, share Know Your Rights information and make multilingual referrals when possible. Community members can call, text or send a whatsapp message to the LLAC hotline at 504-315-5751. A volunteer will respond within 3 business days to complete an intake, listen to stories and concerns, and offer information and support. Community members can also click here to submit an intake form to the hotline without calling.
Federal Communications Commission (FCC)
Services: The Emergency Broadband Benefit is an FCC program to help families and households struggling to afford internet service during the COVID-19 pandemic. This new benefit will connect eligible households to jobs, critical healthcare services, virtual classrooms, and so much more.
Services: Free ALAS is a New Orleans nonprofit organization that increases youth access to education by training school staff and educators on how to support immigrant students and system-impacted youth, and how staff and educators can help connect youth to pro bono legal representation. Services: The Hispanic Chamber of Commerce provides many services and resources to the Hispanic and Latine communities in the Greater New Orleans area, including educational workshops and resources. For more information, click the link above.
Services: This website offers free online tutoring in English and in Spanish for test preparation, homework assistance, job search assistance and other support resources.
Services: Receive information and keep up to date with COVID-19 regulations, status and how NOLA public schools are responding to the pandemic.
Services: A one-year immersion program for students who have recently arrived to the United States to develop their English language proficiency as well as increase success at their home schools.
The NET Charter High Schools (locations in Central City, Gentilly and New Orleans East)

Services: Free HiSET instruction and testing instruction in English and Spanish, college counseling.
MastersofPublicAdministration: Guide to Pursuing a Social Policy Degree
Services: Offer in-depth information on Social Policy degrees for those members of the community or allies interested in this career path.
